16th October is celebrated as world food day. Every year, this day endeavours to promote food and preserve food resources. In light of the current pandemic this year, the day will be celebrated with the theme –
“Grow, nourish, sustain. Together. Our actions are our future.”
I am a passionate cook and enjoy playing with various ingredients and flavours. I like to experiment and discover new recipes. At the same time,I get immense pleasure in making traditional foods. I am very fond of feeding loved ones which gives me satisfaction and peace. And to top it all, I am a foodie. Eating the food I make rewards me with contentment.
My action towards sustainable future is making delicious food from leftovers in my kitchen. Here are some of the dishes I made …Food that is healthy and tasty.Food that is made with love.

Experimenting with leftover food has been something which I really enjoy. This also gives me peace and helps me deal with stress issues.
On this World Food Day, we must promise ourselves to never waste food as an initiative and contribution to save food for those who are hungry, let us make a big difference with our small actions.
